Being Taught From My Wagering Errors
Thursday, 21. January 2010
First to explain the reason I wrote this article. I have been gambling on the web or at land based casinos for many years. I have discovered, the dependency can grab a hold of you and you will not even realize it up until you are bankrupt. Particularly if you’re on a winning streak. I’ve gone through countless thousands of dollars in a very tiny amount of time and still on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It appears you are just having fun until you decide to be aware of your loss and the guilt sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It doesn’t works. Then you feel queasy in your gut and the more you try the faster you are deprived.
When you see that you are ahead, STAY on the UP! When you begin to be beaten, don’t say to yourself, "well perhaps one more" and again and again, trust me, this concept RARELY ever works. Say you’re playing on slots, have an amount set aside prior to starting your action. DO NOT go over that limit, regardless how appealing. If you happen to win, put that in a separate cup. Do not use your profits no matter what. Once you have gone through your primary set limit, call it a day. Leave, whether it is on the web or at a brick and mortar betting house, don’t stick around. Always remember, there is going to be a different day, a different time.
Keep in mind, wagering is supposed to be exciting not backbreaking, sickening work! If you are not having fun yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan not afford the cost, do not even begin.
